Lovebirds on a Tree ~ multi canvas textured painting

Lovebirds in Colorful Tree Acrylic Canvas Painting
A multi-canvas artwork

Fall is coming to an end and we are stepping into Winter. However much I love the beauty of different seasons there’s one thing I love all year through – full trees. In my last post I mentioned on how cold it’s getting here with the rain and the wind, and all I can think about now is hot tea! While sipping on some, I embarked upon my biggest canvas painting, thus far!
In my mind I knew I had wanted to create a painting with multiple canvas’. And after pondering about some quite delightful subjects, I knew I wanted the painting of a colorful tree. What would make it warm and cozy? Two lovebirds sitting on a branch.

This is a painting that took me many hours and I ensured that each leaf was vibrant and had a thick texture. For the different textures I used Golden Artist Acrylic Gel Mediums Set and since then, I must use at least one or two of them in everything that I paint. I highly recommend the product!

This painting is listed in my Etsy shop. You may click here to view it in the shop.
