Eating out in Kolkata is satisfying and a treat, for sure! Homemade food comes in abundance, like I said in my last post, but if you want to step out you have options galore. Advertisements
Last December, AB and I were on a ten-day whirlwind trip to Kolkata. We were primarily there for some visa-related work but since we were home after three years, family, friends, and relatives didn’t stop short of smothering us with an abundance of homemade delicious meals – for breakfast, lunch, tea-time snacks, dinner, and the time that is between! With my camera in tow, I clicked as much as I could, secretly trying to capture the love with which all these were made.
One cannot say enough about the greatness and health benefits of ghee, especially if it’s organic and homemade. This is an easy 3-step recipe to make ghee or clarified butter easily at home. I promise, you’ll never go back to the store for it again.
Photography – A curiosity that has quickly become a hobby and now I find myself enjoying certain types of photography more than others. Food photography is certainly one the types I enjoy (you can tell by my food posts!) and now with the storm in California and the abundance of rain (Thank heavens!), I am ALWAYS intrigued by rain-soaked nature! I find the glistening water droplets beautiful, on leaves.
