I have quite a few cars that I really like but one of my most favorite has to be the Volkswagen Beetle. Especially super bright colored ones. Advertisements
Photography – A curiosity that has quickly become a hobby and now I find myself enjoying certain types of photography more than others. Food photography is certainly one the types I enjoy (you can tell by my food posts!) and now with the storm in California and the abundance of rain (Thank heavens!), I am ALWAYS intrigued by rain-soaked nature! I find the glistening water droplets beautiful, on leaves.
My Etsy shop was in a little bit of a hiatus. But I am back! Slowly but steadily… And this whimsical acrylic painting on canvas of ‘Dragonflies in the Night Sky’ is what I am making a comeback with! Please click here for my Etsy art shop – ‘AnArtsyAppetite’
Fall is coming to an end and we are stepping into Winter. However much I love the beauty of different seasons there’s one thing I love all year through – full trees. In my last post I mentioned on how cold it’s getting here with the rain and the wind, and all I can think about now is hot tea! While sipping on some, I embarked upon my biggest canvas painting, thus far!
On the occasion of the Bengali festival of Durga Puja, I want to share my rendition of an Indian artwork by a famous Bengali painter. This is ‘Black Horse’ – an acrylic painting on canvas, originally painted by Jamini Roy.
I recently announced my Etsy art shop with my Peacock Feathers Acrylic Painting. Hearing that I was thinking of my own Etsy shop, my friend was very excited. She encouraged me to go ahead with it. She has a baby boy and she wanted a customized wall art for her baby’s nursery. And I was more than happy to do it for her.
